Who we are

Driftwood Kitchen is a café located in Highcliffe-On-Sea in Christchurch. We are an independent business registered at 330 Lymington Rd, Highcliffe, Christchurch BH23 5EY and are licensed to sell food, drink and alcohol, as well as be a hosting venue.

What data we collect

  2. Your name, email address, phone number and any comments or enquiries you leave when contacting Driftwood Kitchen or when signing up for our email newsletter.

Where your data is processed and stored

The Driftwood Kitchen website processes all data on a shared cloud hosting server provided by Krystal Hosting. Krystal Hosting states “We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.” Krystal Hosting is not able to access any website data unless permitted so by website administrators or employees with access to our server.

Once your data has been processed, it is not stored on the server and is sent via email to the respective recipient with the domain ending in @driftwoodkitchen.co.uk

In the case that your submission fails, it will continue to be stored on the server till the webmaster has confirmed whether the submission is valid. In the event a submission fails, an email is sent to the webmaster containing the details you entered along with your IP address for moderation. If the submission breaches our terms of service, we will use the IP address provided to prevent access to my website and servers.

Any data provided for the purposes of email communication between the recipient and Driftwood Kitchen will be kept indefinitely (however emails are usually deleted after a certain period of time) and if you sign up to our email newsletter, your email and name will be stored as long as you are signed up to our newsletter and up to 3 months after you unsubscribe.

This privacy policy is subject to change to stay in line with the data regulations followed by the United Kingdom as we do not provide services to outside countries. Changes made to this policy will take place immediately and apply to all customers.
